Step 6 Spirituality(A.C.D.F.M.S) - Importance of Tap and Dhyan for healing IBS!!

Taking a Shower is such a refreshing experience.

I have to acknowledge that my most creative ideas/thoughts strike me when I am getting a shower😂😂

It releases all those non-stop deep & silent thought processes for a while. Water has this super amazing absorbing and cleaning power. It rejuvenates our life daily unknowingly.

But can we say that if we bathe one day then we don't need to do it the next day?

While few may say 'Yes' 😄😄... but most people ensure to shower every day before starting their daily imp/work routine or before retiring at night.

In the same way, connecting with self for at least 20 mins daily is very good practice to become refreshed mentally & emotionally. It helps the mind stops generating that same clutter.

I have read in many books and articles that Mind is a dump box & constantly repeats its thought same patterns from time to time based on external stimuli.

For example, somebody who is feeling too much stressed/fearful/worried may experience IBS symptoms re-triggering. These thought patterns seem to continue as our very first thought in the morning and the last thought before sleeping. A person suffers so much in this way as if nothing in this world can make him/her happy for long.

It is really important we break this pattern of mind. So many people discuss that it is possible through  Meditation(Dhyan) and Yog(Tap)!!"

But here is a thing to know that both Meditation and Yog are important as they serve different purposes respectively. Some people think only meditation is enough will others think only Yog is enough. So we need to go a little deeper.

Meditation(Dhyan) is the silent observation process of self by closing eyes without judgment. Meditation helps in bringing clarity to understand our real position, our mistakes, and ego(s) building on an everyday basis.

While Yog(Tap) is a process of initiating the internal cleaning fire to burn all the negativity in the body. Our thoughts process happens with normal breathing patterns. So in the human body first layer is skin, the second is human breathes & the next is thoughts. So via Yog & it by various asana(s) we can regulate it even more easily(reference from book "Meri Gita - DevDutt Pattnayak")

In Our Vedic culture some thousand years ago people use to give their offering to fire to praise Deities who are the controller of natural powers which was known as "Yagya". It converted to controlling desires of body/senes & sitting strongly in really difficult positions in remembrance of God for years & years later know as "Tapasya".

As time advanced more further, these old practices changed to going to worship places. Now in Corona even going to temples or Churches or Mosques etc is becoming less frequent. So the only way is to do Tap is through Yog asana(s) sitting at home.

Today when the world is struggling with more negative vibrations in Earth's environment, Yog/tap is also very important as a daily practice.

There are two aspects of the body physical health & emotional health of the body.

People have this notion that they need physical well-being more than emotional well-being. But in reality, the truth is - If a person has good emotional health, he/she can achieve things that may appear impossible to others. & this is free from the age factor.

I recall at age of 20 I tried but I was not able to do splits the way I do fully at 38 years. It is called reverse engineering of the body via emotional well-being.

                                                                      That's me ✌

IBS is also about the confused emotional state of the body & can be fixed with correct and consistent Yog & Meditation practices. He/She will have an amazing recovery from IBS at up to 60%. This is a concept based on six steps of the A.C.D.F.M.S approach
