During the initial days of my IBS in 2007-08, I mostly focused on the 2 below points.
1.Sticking to Diet
2.Sticking to medicine
But this faith kept shaking as soon I use to get the IBS Diarrhea attacks and become clueless again almost every morning and sometimes continuously the whole day...
In those days IBS was quite an uncommon disease in India and it was hard to find any useful you-tube videos or information on other social platforms that were still in the booming state.
Options that I had were:-
1. Search on google
2.Consultant other gastritis Doctors.
Google might tell a better diet to introduce a lot of fiber and energy or better supplement of the existing medicine. A new doctor normally understands our case, checks the severity, and tells us to upgrade/change medicine.
Both are & may be crucial for doing self-discovery but the problem is people who just stick to these 2 will not yield true success ever i.e. "beating IBS-D or C or M permanently."
Nowadays IBS sufferers have become aware and some are able to focus on fitness and maintain consistency...But what we need to remember that we have still 12-14 hrs remaining in our day and action during those hours is really crucial.
Actions here mean how we are thinking about ourselves and others all day long-
1. Do we have too low self-image/doubts?
2. Are we happy with the remaining 3 pillars i.e. our current job/source of earning, our relationships, and social interactions?
It is seen that people who have any 1 of these 3 pillars problematic are more severe sufferers. Now how to fix these with already bad health?
One sure way is to do strong positive affirmations by speaking loud to self and clear once in a minute after 1 hr is necessary to break the current cycle of negative or depressing thoughts and feel invincible.
This helps a lot recycle them strong positive thoughts. Initially, it will look difficult, unreal, challenging but with constant practice. But we need to master our acting skills.

I found this technique greatly similar to people who are on the FODMAP diet and checking their list everywhere. The only difference in this case just a glance is needed and brings hope and positivity.
You see... "External situations are unpredictable, not in our control & sometimes pain is inevitable". But our imagination & effort to find good moments will make things settle according for us slowly but finally someday. Imagine that again & again to make it the strongest wish.
